  • Breema Bodywork - is a form of bodywork that has been described as a cross between partner yoga and Thai massage. The practice is intended to bring body and mind together,[1] and no strong exertions or muscular contortions are involved.

  • Bright light therapy - is a treatment for people who have circadian rhythm sleep disorders. Your body has an internal clock that tells it when it is time to be asleep and when it is time to be awake.

  • Buteyko - consists of a series of breathing exercises and guidelines specifically designed to reduce over-breathing (clinically known as ‘chronic hyperventilation’).

  • Chelation therapy - is a medical treatment for people experiencing heavy metal poisoning. Heavy metal poisoning occurs when the soft tissues of the body absorb toxic amounts of metal. Chelation therapy involves substances known as chelators. These substances bind to heavy metals and transport them out of the body.

  • Chi Nei Tsang - is a holistic approach to the healing touch modality. It integrates the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual aspects of our being.

  • Chiropractic - is a form of alternative medicine concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of mechanical disorders of the musculoskeletal system, especially of the spine.

  • Climatotherapy - means to relocate to a climate more favorable for treatment of a condition.

  • CO2 Bath - A bath in hot mineral water saturated with natural carbon dioxide. The treatment increases local and total blood circulation, reduces blood pressure and accelerates mental relaxation.

  • Colon Hydrotherapy - also known as colonic cleansing or irrigation, involves using water to flush waste out of the large intestine.

  • Colorpuncture - is a system of bio-photonic therapy involving the application of specific frequencies of light (color) applied to reflex points and zones on the skin. The treatment is very gentle, non-invasive, and subtle in effect.

  • Color Therapy - Also known as chromotherapy, color therapy is based on the idea that color and colored lights can help treat physical or mental health. According to this idea, they cause subtle changes in our moods and biology.

  • Craniosacral therapy (CST) - is a gentle, non-invasive, non-directive and non-analytical form of bodywork whose goal is to help get rid of restrictions in the Craniosacral System by balancing the cerebrospinal fluid dynamics known to have a direct influence in the proper functioning of the central nervous system.

  • Crenotherapy - is the term to define any treatment incorporating mineral water, mud and vapour.

  • Cryotherapy - is the use of extreme cold to freeze and remove abnormal tissue. Doctors use it to treat many skin conditions (including warts and skin tags) and some cancers, including prostate, cervical and liver cancer. This treatment is also called cryoablation.

  • Crystal Therapy - The whole body is massaged using a balancing/Calming Aromatherapy blend, then a mix of smooth, different types and shapes of crystal are used over the body, with a slow, gliding, stroking pressure according to your bodies needs and wants.

  • Cupping - is an ancient healing therapy that some people use to ease pain. A provider places cups on your back, stomach, arms, legs or other parts of your body. Inside the cup, a vacuum or suction force pulls skin upward. Cupping is a form of traditional Chinese and Middle Eastern medicine.

  • Deep tissue Bodywork / massage - is a massage technique that's mainly used to treat musculoskeletal issues, such as strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues.

  • Enhanced external Counter Pulsation (EECP) therapy - is an FDA-approved outpatient therapy for chronic stable angina. It uses pressure on the lower limbs to improve blood flow in people with long-term symptoms of heart disease, such as chest pain and pressure.

  • Emotional Freedom Techniques or EFT - also known as Tapping is a psychological acupressure technique used routinely with our clients and is highly recommended to improve your emotional health and wellbeing.

  • Electrical Therapies - is a therapeutic treatment that applies electrical stimulation in treating muscle spasms and pain. It can help prevent atrophy and build strength in patients with injuries. It is also helpful in keeping muscles active especially after any type spinal cord injury or strokes.

  • Equine therapy - or horse therapy, is a therapeutic modality that utilizes a horse’s unique traits and sensitivities to help people dealing with a variety of challenges in both emotional and physiological aspects of life.

  • Esalen - A type of message which focuses on energy exchange and psychological well being rather than the simply physical results of a massage.

  • Esalen Massage - is an inward journey rather than a therapeutic treatment. Through long strokes, a slow pace, and pauses, you are invited to return to your natural state of balance and alignment.

  • Fangotherapy - is the use of mud, peat, and clay for healing purposes (fango is the Italian word for mud).

  • Far infrared sauna - heat the body directly rather than heating the air around your body.

  • Feldenkrais method - developed by Moshe Feldenkrais, is the application of a gentle mindful movement based on principles of physics, biomechanics, psychology, motor development, martial arts, and the reconnection of self-education to how the body moves and develops.

  • Fitness therapy - focuses on total body health & wellness by conditioning the patient's entire body, instead of concentrating on the specific injured area(s).

  • Floatation - may improve your cardiovascular health by inducing deep relaxation that reduces stress levels and improves sleep, according to research.

  • Foot Reflexology - is a type of therapy that uses gentle pressure on specific points along your feet.

  • Foundation training - involves simple movement patterns and is equipment free, creating maximum power, flexibility, and endurance. Foundation Training activates your posterior muscle chain, anchors the hips, decompresses the spine, and teaches you to take the burden of supporting the body out of your joints and put it where it belongs; in your muscles.

  • Galvanic Treatment - uses direct electrical current to introduce water-soluble substances into the surface of the skin. This helps to improve absorption and is obviously therefore great for dry or dehydrated skin.

  • Heliotherapy - is the use of natural sunlight for the treatment of certain skin conditions. It is a form of phototherapy. It is also called climate therapy.

  • Hellerwork - is an approach that incorporates three aspects to address pain in the body, release tension, and stress. The three aspects are deep tissue bodywork, somatic dialogue and movement education.

  • HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) - is a type of interval training exercise. It incorporates several rounds that alternate between several minutes of high intensity movements to significantly increase the heart rate to at least 80% of one’s maximum heart rate, followed by short periods of lower intensity movements.

  • Hilot - is the art and science of the ancient Filipino healing traditions that are grounded on the concept of balance among the physical elements along with the mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of a person.

  • Hirudotherapy - also known as Leech therapy is a treatment using medicinal leeches.

  • Homeopathy - is a "treatment" based on the use of highly diluted substances, which practitioners claim can cause the body to heal itself.

  • Hope Ear candling - is an unsafe and unproven practice during which a person inserts a lit candle into their ear. The heat from the candle is supposed to draw earwax and other impurities out of the ear.

  • Hormone replacement therapy (HRT) - is a treatment to relieve symptoms of the menopause. It replaces hormones that are at a lower level as you approach the menopause.

  • Hot - Cold Immersion Therapy - also known as contrast bath therapy is a series of brief, repeated immersions in water, alternating between warm and cold temperatures.

  • Hot stone massage - is a type of massage therapy. It's used to help you relax and ease tense muscles and damaged soft tissues throughout your body. The therapist works with hot stones that are placed on specific parts of the body.

  • Hydrotherapy - is a form of physical medicine using the therapeutic application of water in a variety of ways, both internally and externally, on the body. Topical applications of cold or hot water packs, compresses, baths, pools, steams, sweats, showers, enemas, and colonics are all forms of hydrotherapy.

  • Hydrotherm - is a massage system which places warm water-filled pads on top of a regular therapy couch. Your entire massage is carried out while you are face-up, on your back.

  • Hypnosis / Hypnotherapy - people are guided through a process to induce a trance-like state that helps them focus their minds, respond more readily to suggestions, and become deeply relaxed. Hypnotherapy utilizes the heightened awareness of the hypnotic state to help you focus on a problem more deeply.

  • Hypopressive Method - is a type of workout technique meant for activating the involuntary fibers within your pelvic floor.

  • Integrative Manual Therapy (IMT) - is a gentle, hands-on approach to health that looks for the underlying causes of a person's problems.

  • Indian head massage - aims to release tension in the muscles and joints of the head, face, neck and shoulders. Indian head massage can also help with relieving fatigue, insomnia, headaches, and sinusitis.

  • Inhalation therapy - allows conveying drugs directly into the airways. The devices used to administer inhaled drugs play a crucial role in the management of obstructive lung diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

  • Intermittent hypoxic therapy (IHT), also known as intermittent hypoxic training technique aimed at improving human performance by way of adaptation to reduced oxygen.

  • Iontophoresis - is the process of passing a weak electrical current through the skin. Iontophoresis has a variety of uses in medicine.

  • Intense pulsed light (IPL) therapy - aka photofacial, is a way to improve the color and texture of your skin without surgery.

  • Isopathy - (derived from “isos pathos” or “equal suffering”) refers to the use of the exact substance that causes an illness as a therapeutic tool for that same illness.

  • Jet peels - is a noninvasive procedure that uses jets of air and liquids to cleanse and exfoliate your skin.

  • Jet shower - a gentle massage using small jets of hot and cold water all over the body.

  • John of God Crystal Therapy - is safe and non-invasive. You remove your shoes, jewelry and lie on your back on a table below the seven suspended crystals which align to your corresponding chakras. Wear white clothes to maximize the healing from the crystal bed.

  • Jungian therapy - is a form of psychotherapy that originated in the theories of Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung, who found that many of his patients suffered from deeply rooted feelings of gloom and inadequacy.

  • Ka Huna (sometimes called temple-style Lomi Lomi) - is a powerful yet flowing full body Polynesian healing style that can be deeply rejuvenating on multiple levels. The practitioner uses the forearms and hands in long fluid strokes over the full length of the body, with focused breath work.

  • Kairos Therapy - is hands-on emotional and physical healing using the chi flowing between our hands to gently release blockages in the body biofield.

  • Kinesiology - a form of therapy that uses muscle monitoring (biofeedback) to look at what may be causing 'imbalances' in the body and attempts to relieve these imbalances.

  • Kiradjee - It is a holistic massage that combines a few different styles of massage like acupressure, deep tissue work, healing and gentle body mobility with Aboriginal healing rituals.

  • Kneipp Kur - involve rounds of hydrotherapy as well a focus on a natural diet and the application and intake of herbs.

  • Light therapy - or phototherapy, classically referred to as heliotherapy—is a method recognized by scientific medicine for the treatment of various diseases. It includes exposure to outdoor daylight or specific indoor artificial light sources.

  • Lomi lomi - is a traditional Hawaiian massage that uses a combination of massage techniques, nut oils, and sometimes elements of prayer, breathing and dance to restore energy and soothe the body. It is also known as the 'loving hands' massage.

  • Magnet therapy - involves applying the weak magnetic field of permanent magnets to the body, for purported health benefits. Different effects are assigned to different orientations of the magnet.

  • Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) - is a light, skin-stretching massage that helps promote the movement of lymphatic fluid out of the swollen limb. It should not be confused with a traditional massage. MLD is specifically focused on the lymph vessels to help the flow of lymphatic fluid.

  • Meditation - as a spiritual practice, is more about working with the mind and training in awareness. Simply working with the mind leads to an improved sense of presence, calm, attentiveness, and an increase in valued human qualities such as empathy and patience.

  • Mesotherapy - commonly known as “biorejuvenation” or “biorevitalization”, is a technique used to rejuvenate the skin by means of a transdermal injection of a multivitamin solution and natural plant extracts that are thought to improve the signs of skin aging.

  • Mitochondrial replacement therapy (MRT) - sometimes called mitochondrial donation, is the replacement of mitochondria in one or more cells to prevent or ameliorate disease.

  • Moxibustion - is a form of therapy that entails the burning of mugwort leaves. This is a small, spongy herb that is believed to enhance healing with acupuncture. As such, the leaves are burnt close to the skin's surface using a stick to apply heat.‌

  • Muscle Relaxation - is a deep relaxation technique that has been effectively used to control stress and anxiety, relieve insomnia, and reduce symptoms of certain types of chronic pain.

  • Music therapy - is a therapeutic approach that uses the naturally mood-lifting properties of music to help people improve their mental health and overall well-being.

  • Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP) - is a way of changing someone's thoughts and behaviors to help achieve desired outcomes for them.

  • Newari Baby Massage - the baby is oiled with Mustard oil to keep it warm, then massaged with circular, clockwise movements, bathed in a bucket of warm water, and finally again oiled and rubbed with Mustard oil until the baby falls asleep.

  • Oil pulling - is an alternative medical practice in which an edible oil is swished around the mouth for a period of time and then spat out, similar to mouthwash.

  • Osteopathy - is a way of detecting, treating and preventing health problems by moving, stretching and massaging a person's muscles and joints. Osteopathy is based on the principle that the wellbeing of an individual depends on their bones, muscles, ligaments and connective tissue functioning smoothly together.

  • Oxygen therapy - also known as supplemental oxygen, is the use of oxygen as medical treatment. Acute indications for therapy include hypoxemia, carbon monoxide toxicity and cluster headache. It may also be prophylactically given to maintain blood oxygen levels during the induction of anesthesia.

  • Ozone therapy - refers to the process of administering ozone gas into your body to treat a disease or wound.

  • Panchakarma - is a method of cleansing the body of all the unwanted waste after lubricating it. Panchakarma are 5 (five) in number; hence the term PANCHA (five) – KARMA (procedures). Panchakarma treatment is unique in the sense that it includes preventive, curative and promotive actions for various diseases.

  • Peat Bath - Peat is about 90% water and about 10% decomposed plant material. The plant material entraps heat. Placed in a bath and put in contact with the body, the peat slowly and gently transfers heat into the tissues, soothing pain and promoting healing. Peat gently removes dead skin cells, enhances circulation and leaves skin feeling soft and glowing.

  • Pelotherapy - is defined as the therapeutic application of clay (mud), specifically through clay baths or localized applications called “peloids.”

  • Pulsed Electro-Magnetic Field (PEMF) therapy - uses technology to stimulate and exercise cells to help resolve cellular dysfunction and to support overall wellness.

  • Plyometrics - is a type of exercise training that uses speed and force of different movements to build muscle power. Plyometrics training can improve your physical performance and ability to do different activities.

  • Pressotherapy - also known as lymphatic drainage, is a non-invasive treatment that involves the application of air pressure, alternating between compression and decompression on parts of the body. This can help to stimulate the lymphatic system which helps to clear toxins from the body and stimulate blood circulation.

  • Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy - uses injections of a concentration of a patient's own platelets to accelerate the healing of injured tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints. In this way, PRP injections use each individual patient's own healing system to improve musculoskeletal problems.

  • Psammotherapy (aka Hot Sand Therapy) - is a traditional practice in which hot sand baths are employed for therapeutic purposes. This systematic review aims to investigate the potential efficacy of psammotherapy in the treatment of any disease.
